Course overview

This course is a 7 day course split over 2 weeks covering all the requirements to gain an SIA door supervisor license. The course covers all aspects of the security industry and covers the modules such as.

  1. ACT Awareness & ACT Training
  2. Emergency first aid at work ( EFAW).
  3. Working in the private security industry.
  4. Working as a door supervisor
  5. Conflict Management.
  6. Physical Intervention.

Within each different module you can expect to learn about things such as

  • health and safety
  • law and legislation
  • Incident reporting
  • Searching procedures
  • Drugs
  • Communication procedures
  • Strategies to de escalate conflict
  • Physical intervention techniques such as disengagement, holding and escorting.

This qualification is aimed at anyone who is wanting to work as a Door Supervisor or Security Guard in the UK. Upon successful completion of the course you will be able to use your certificates to apply for an SIA license and start your career as a competent and professional door supervisor.
